Shravana Somavara - Dwitiya
The second of Shravana's Mondays — the one that tests whether a devotee can hold a Solah Somvar (sixteen-Monday) fast past the easy first week. Worship centres on an abhishek of the Shiva lingam with milk, water and bilva leaves, traditionally to the Namakam–Chamakam chants.
Shravana Somavara - Chaturtha
The fourth Monday of Shravan — the month whose glory the Skanda Purana sets out as a dialogue between Shiva and Sanatkumara. In temples, a perforated pot (Dharanatra) drips water onto the Linga all day, while devotees pile it with bilva leaves and fast till sunset.
Vaishnava Putrada Ekadashi
The Vaishnava observance of Shravana Putrada Ekadashi — kept on the second day when the tithi straddles two sunrises. Smarthas fast on day one; Sanyasis, widows and seekers of moksha take this later date. Vaishnavas also call it Pavitropana, after the sacred-thread loop offered to Vishnu this month.

Ekadashi honours a goddess, not just a date. She sprang from Vishnu's body to kill the demon Mura while he slept, and in gratitude Vishnu declared that fasting on the eleventh tithi of each fortnight would burn away sin — a vow kept twice a month.
